HD video has practically killed the DVD.
From the picture quality point of view, this is good news. The DVD limited resolution of 720 x 576 pixels results in blurry and dull images, particularly when stretched and played on much higher resolution screens. (Full HD is 1920 x 1080 pixels)
From the point of view of interactivity, it’s a sad loss, as it hasn’t been replaced.
Or has it?
While Blu Ray has not replaced DVDs at home, we strongly believe it is vastly underrated in today’s corporate
communication, as it offers optimum video quality AND full interactivity.
We have a long experience in DVD programming, so transferring this knowledge to Blu Ray authoring was relatively painless.
Today, we can provide the entire chain of production in-house:
- Digitizing - Data compressing - Authoring - Graphic design - Burning - Printing
For spectacular results on trade shows, the final Blu Ray can be interacted with on a Full HD touchscreen.
